Astromages draw power from the stars and cast spells in the form of constellations. Mallowkin are oddly adept at this practice. Some believe, before they were thrust into existance, their primordial form was consumed by many late at night by campfires; they would lie helpless waiting to become a tasty treat meanwhile all they could do was face and study the stars. It's thought that has been imprinted on them.
Thrust into existence by a Vegetarian Warlock who was sick of not being able to find Marshmallows fit for his lifestyle choices. The experiment, unfortunately for him, gave these Mallows sentience and their consumption was outlawed...
Now they roam the land, have civilisations, and occasionally get roasted...
